Volume 2

Using the Tools

Previous Chapter | Next Chapter: Levels of Training: Who Gets What Training

The training tools provided in this volume are the exact training materials used during the study. If you conduct the training consistent with the steps described in this book, which mirror the study, you should expect to see a significant improvement in the quality of the clinical documentation provided by the physicians trained in the CAMP Method. The chapter describes both measurement tools and training tools. The measurement tools, completed by the physician before and after training that are included and addressed in this chapter are:

  • Attitudes and opinions Survey (about clinical documentation)
  • Self-efficacy questionnaire (confidence in documenting)
  • Clinical documentation test

Training tools are also used by the instructors. These tools are provided on the resource disc and include:

  • Agenda and schedule of training activities
  • PowerPoint training presentations
  • Case Studies
  • Video clip
  • Program evaluation forms

This chapter explains the use of all training and measurement tools as well as the specific results of the measurement tools from the CAMP Method study.
